THE TEAM

MARCO BALSAMO
PRIMARY HOST - PENN STATE
Marco has been playing fantasy football for 13 years and has always had an obsession with the game. Playing in anywhere from 15-20+ leagues each season, Marco’s friends, family and wife have all considered checking him into rehab for his addiction. Having grown up a NYGs fan living in the suburbs of Philly, arguing over football became a necessity in order to survive. This passion for arguing and debating among friends is what lead him to start The Fantasy Feud. Marco was tired of listening to paid analysts all agree with each other and teach their listeners absolutely nothing they didn’t already know. He believes in giving the listeners as many sides of the argument and different points of view as possible to help them to make their final decisions with the information provided. Marco has 3 major tenets he lives by and preaches when it comes to fantasy football: 1. Always draft BPA (don’t let positions change your pick unless it’s a tie between two players or a league where you can’t trade), 2. Early in a draft it’s more important to minimize risk than it is to seek rewards, and 3. NEVER trade a player for less than market value.

JOEY SZAL
HOST - DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY
Joey Szal grew up outside of Philadelphia directly next door to Marco and Alex. In 2016, Joey got his Master’s in Accounting from UC Irvine. He has been playing fantasy football for 15 seasons. Joey and his dynasty team have been together for 8 seasons now. Joey’s approach to fantasy sports isn’t conventional, but after winning a quarter of his leagues the past 3 years, you can’t tell him anything.

ALEX BALSAMO
HOST - UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA
Alex has always been dedicated to the game of dynasty and fantasy football, playing in his first dynasty league at the age of 14 years old. Despite playing against much older competition, he managed to pull off the correct picks and trades that lead to three straight league wins. Since then, Alex is now involved in over seven dynasty leagues and five redraft leagues per year. Alex’s offseason is short. At almost all times of the year, you can find him doing considerable amounts of research. His drive for winning and dedication to the game has led him to podcasting in hopes to help others reach their goals.

JOE AMATO
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER - PENN STATE
Joe is the founder of 133 Media, a creative production company that specializes in photography, video production, and now podcasting! Though he does not consider himself an expert in Fantasy Football, Joe has been playing in multiple leagues for almost 10 years now. He most recently won his workplace league in 2018, with the invaluable help of his fellow Penn State alumni Saquon Barkley.
